My client is a leading global pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovative medicines and healthcare solutions, committed to expanding access to our products and ensuring their affordability for patients worldwide.

We are seeking a Freelance Nordic Market Access Pricing & Reimbursement Expert to support our market access efforts in the Nordic region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing pricing and reimbursement strategies for our portfolio of pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop market access strategies for pharmaceutical products in the Nordic region.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of pricing and reimbursement landscapes in Nordic countries, including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland.
  • Provide strategic guidance on pricing negotiations and reimbursement submissions to maximize product access and affordability.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including HTA agencies, payers, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups, to advocate for favorable pricing and reimbursement outcomes.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, health technology assessments (HTA), and market access trends in the Nordic region to inform strategy development.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders on market access strategies and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market access, pricing, or reimbursement roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth understanding of Nordic market access environments, including pricing and reimbursement processes, HTA agencies, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating pricing and reimbursement challenges and achieving product access goals in the Nordic region.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market access insights.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Nordic languages (e.g., Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish) is highly desirable.

Location: Remote with availability for occasional travel within the Nordic region.
