Job Description

This is an opportunity to come in as the first hire within Error Correction, this opens the door for some freedom in the approach. You will explore what could be the best error correction strategy for the client. Exploring and adapting existing code and developing new strategies optimised for their technology. 


Your tasks:

  • Evaluating and modifying current error-correction codes for use with their technology
  • Creating error-correction codes compatible with the clients technologies
  • Establishing the requirements for their technology error correction and assisting in the development of processor architectures in that domain
  • Estimating the capacity for mistake correction on the clients technology
  • Supporting the creation of techniques and scalable architectures for the implementation of workable quantum algorithms
  • Helping the software team on a quantum emulator to implement error correction
  • Presenting study results in journal articles and technical presentations
  • Communicating with professionals in academics and business to seek guidance and partnerships 



  • You hold a PhD in theoretical physics, computer science, mathematics, or a similar subject with an emphasis on quantum error correction.
  • You are well knowledgeable about quantum information and quantum error correction.
  • Fluent in English.
  • You have the drive and independence to work on your own.
  • You have an intense curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, with a focus on quantum
