Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scientist/Manager in Analytical Methods to join our team as a maternity leave replacement for the assistant to the head of the analytical team. This role involves direct interaction with teams, engineers, and technicians to review data, challenge findings, review reports, and actively participate in projects related to analytical development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spend time with analytical development teams, engineers, and technicians to review their data, challenge them, and provide expert guidance.
  • Review and approve analytical reports and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to analytical development projects.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in chromatography (HPLC, UPLC) and physico-chemistry.
  • Lead the spectrometry and spectroscopy division, ensuring high standards of analytical method development and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the development of analytical methods in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in chromatography, particularly HPLC and UPLC.
  • Strong background in physico-chemistry and structural analysis.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing and mentoring analytical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to challenge and guide technical staff effectively.
