Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager specializing in pharmaceutical formulations to drive growth in the LATAM region, with a primary focus on Mexico and Brazil. The ideal candidate will have a strong network, in-depth market knowledge, and a proven track record in building strategic partnerships and driving sales in the pharmaceutical sector.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Development:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the LATAM region, specifically Mexico and Brazil.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  1. Networking and Relationship Management:
  • Leverage an existing network of distributors, partners, and clients in Mexico and Brazil to drive sales.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
  1. Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue targets in the LATAM region.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including regulatory, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure successful market entry and product launches.
  1. Regulatory and Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements in the LATAM region for product registration and marketing.
  1. Sales and Performance Tracking:
  • Monitor sales performance, provide regular reports, and recommend strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the pharmaceutical formulations industry.
  • Strong network and relationships within the LATAM pharmaceutical market, especially in Mexico and Brazil.
  • Knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and market dynamics in the LATAM region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is an added advantage.
