I am working on behalf of an innovative medical technology company based in Zurich  They are currently seeking a highly experienced Head Of Software Engineer to lead their software development team and drive innovation in medical device technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality medical software.
• Oversee the development of embedded systems, cloud-based platforms, and medical applications.
• Ensure full compliance with industry standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet product goals.
• Introduce innovative technologies and methodologies to the development process.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (PhD is a plus).
• 8+ years in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of medical device regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Fluency in English; German or French is advantageous.
