Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly qualified Post-Quantum Cryptography Specialist to join their team. This position involves cutting-edge work in cryptography, focusing on post-quantum solutions and advanced security measures to address emerging threats in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of cryptographic systems and hands-on expertise in quantum-resistant security protocols.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and development in post-quantum cryptography, aligning with NIST standards and industry best practices.
  • Provide expertise in cryptographic techniques, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, cryptographic primitives, and quantum-resistant algorithms.
  • Lead efforts in cryptographic inventory discovery, including the creation of a Cryptography Bill of Materials (CBOM) for effective asset management.
  • Analyze and mitigate vulnerabilities in cryptographic implementations, addressing risks such as side-channel attacks, photon number splitting attacks, DoS attacks, Trojan horse attacks, and novel methods targeting Quantum Key Distribution (QKD).
  • Design and implement secure cryptographic solutions using programming languages like Python and C++.
  • Evaluate and integrate quantum-safe cryptographic libraries and tools to future-proof systems.
  • Stay current with advancements in quantum computing and its implications for cryptography, ensuring readiness to address emerging security challenges.

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth understanding of cryptography, including post-quantum cryptography, and familiarity with NIST standards.
  • Experience in cryptographic inventory discovery and CBOM creation.
  • Strong knowledge of security risks, including side-channel attacksQKD vulnerabilities, and implementation-based attack vectors.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++, with a focus on secure coding practices.
  • Familiarity with quantum-safe cryptographic libraries and tools.
