Medical Science Liaison (Hematology)

Overview:

We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison for a 3 day a week contract (12 months duration) in the field of Hematology. Experience in blood plasma is a plus. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic institutions within the Hematology therapeutic area
  • Provide scientific and medical support for internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate complex scientific information to healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of Hematology and effectively communicate this information to the team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of medical strategies

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare-related field (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • In-depth knowledge of Hematology, with experience in blood plasma being a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of clinical research and regulatory requirements

Day-to-day:

  • Engage with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals to provide scientific and medical support
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in the field of Hematology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support medical strategies and initiatives
  • Communicate complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner
