Job Description
My client is seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join their team in South Florida. The ideal candidate will be experienced in independently performing high-quality PET/CT and CT procedures while ensuring adherence to regulatory protocols. This role requires excellent communication skills to collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and office staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT and CT procedures with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Conduct daily quality assurance (QA) checks on equipment.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and document detailed patient histories.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compassionate clinical environment.
- Communicate patient concerns and collaborate with the Clinical Manager or Radiologist.
- Report mechanical issues and supply shortages in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- NMTCB and/or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine and/or CT (current and in good standing).
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current Florida Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or CT Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (5+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with GE and/or Phillips PET/CT and CT equipment is a plus.
