Quantum Optics Researcher required to pioneer cutting-edge technology for biological analysis. This role involves designing and assembling experimental setups, generating and manipulating quantum states of light (e.g., entangled photons), and collaborating with the CTO to align quantum optics strategies with company objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge quantum light applications for biological analysis.
  • Lead the design and assembly of experimental setups for quantum-light applications in biology.
  • Generate and manipulate quantum states of light (e.g., entangled photons, time-bin, polarization-bin, and frequency-bin states).
  • Collaborate with the CTO to align quantum optics strategies with the company's technological objectives.
  • Engage in iterative prototype development, refining experiments, and optimizing system reliability and scalability.
  • Conduct experiments and advance the company’s quantum optics capabilities to achieve innovative and scalable solutions.

 

Requirements

  • PhD in Quantum Optics, Quantum Photonics, or a related field.
  • Postdoctoral experience is preferred.
  • Strong experimental background in designing and managing quantum optics or photonics setups.
