Barrington James’ key client is looking for an Associate Director Business Development, Out Licensing to be responsible for the overall strategic management of a global B2B pharmaceutical company’s pipeline portfolio products.

Portfolio includes:

  • CNS
  • Peptide portfolio, Rare Disease and Diabetes
  • Generic small-molecule, Oncology
  • Biosimilar portfolio; Immunology, Oncology, and Ophthalmology

Location: Europe


  • Licensing out pipeline and portfolio products
  • Strategy development and implementation
  • Development of new customers, expansion of existing customers
  • Represent company at partnering events
  • Please note: further responsibilities will discussed during first initial call with recruiter


  • 4-7 years’ experience in Generic Business Development and Licensing environment
  • Biosimilars Out-Licensing experience
  • Life Science degree (BSc minimum)
  • Strong network and proven track record
  • Travel will be required
