My client is an established, successful and growing biotech company located in Germany. They provide protein engineering services to the life science industry.

To strengthen their business development team, they are currently looking for a Scientist/Business Development Associate

Your tasks:

• Work alongside BD team to Identify market opportunities, project partnerships and potential new customers
• Create product presentations and proposals
• Participate in planning and visiting trade fairs, scientific congresses and network meetings
• Support contract-initiation up to contract-signing
• Help develop and implement sustainable marketing activities
• Administrate and further develop existing business relationships
• Participate in strategic planning, design and optimization of our product portfolio

Your requirements:

• Successful scientific education, e. g. biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or similar
• Experience in the biotech or life science industry is an advantage
• Scientific understanding to align client needs with internal capabilities; preferably in structural biology, protein chemical methods, downstream processing and recombinant protein therapeutics
• Basic understanding in sales, marketing and especially online marketing
• Team player with strong organizational and communication skills
