Business Development Director – RWE – EU

We are looking for an enthusiastic sales profile, with a strong scientific background in medical/pharma/clinical research, as well as a good understanding of how data science technologies can learn from patient data, leading to improved patient care.

Your Responsibilities and duties

  • Establish, nurture and grow client relationships (Pharma, Biotech/Medtech companies and CROs) at the appropriate levels to allow setting and managing customer expectations and collaborate with company-wide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction, including elaborating, coordinating, and leading internal and client presentations and meetings
  • Negotiate and close high value and complex sales
  • Forecast opportunity management and accurate pipeline, that includes elaborating and maintaining a prospection and account plan, in order to trigger, organize and host relevant and frequent client contacts and meetings
  • Play a significant role in product development, pricing, and defining the market positioning
  • Participate in the proposal scope development as appropriate

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Advanced pharmaceutical and healthcare industry knowledge: around 5+ years of commercial experience, or sales management, selling services directly to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry with direct interactions with mid-level and executive-level decision-makers.
  • Sales leadership, demonstration of client relationship management and retention skills as well as the ability to acquire and grow client base
  • Proven sales success in closing high value and complex technology and/or consulting and/or service sales in clinical development.
  • Ability to manage difficult client and/or financial situations
  • Ability to differentiate from competitors
  • Ability to develop a strong working relationship with internal stakeholders and management leadership
  • Experience engaging with the Real-World Evidence environment would be a plus
  • Bringing to the table personal relevant pharmaceutical executives network would be a plus
