We are currently looking for a UK based Business Development Director to add to our growing global Sales team! Our ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and takes initiative to seek out information, knowledge, and development, proactively. As a key member of the Sales team, this individual will be responsible for identifying potential business opportunities, building relationships with prospects, and facilitating the sales process.

Responsibilities Include

    • Generate and qualify new sales prospects, identifying potential deals and/or partnership opportunities
    • Research pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies within assigned territory, and add information to the sales CRM solution
    • Follow up with potential clients identified during webinars, industry conferences, and from inbound website activity to qualify them as sales prospects
    • Schedule capabilities presentations with potential clients/partners and the assigned account executive for the client/partner
    • Maintain information in internal sales tools, including the CRM solution and document repository
    • Partner with Marketing to ensure adequate sales collateral is available and up to date for use in the lead generation and prospect qualification process
    • Perform other related duties as required



  • Bachelor’s degree (in life sciences or computer science preferred)
  • 4+ years experience in business development or software sales (experience in eClinical or life sciences sales is a plus)
  • Strong English skills. In addition, fluency in French and/or German is a major plus
  • Ability to communicate value propositions to a variety of potential buyer personas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ambition, self-motivation, and a high level of energy
