Medical Imaging Senior Project Manager

A leading Imaging CRO providing imaging solutions and services to biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies around the world.

They have supported over 130 clinical trials globally and collected 68+ Million DICOM images. As an Imaging CRO, responsible for the management of all imaging related needs of a study including reader training, site qualification, image upload and quality control, central image review, and data management.

Clinical projects ranging from Phase I to Phase IV in the oncology, cardiology, and neurology fields.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project in accordance with scope and Work Order
  • Elaborate action plans and coordinate project activity with internal/external teams: medical staff, study coordinators, software development, technical support, finance, investigator sites, sponsor, CRO, consultants.
  • Assist in preparation and adherence to imaging trial documents: Imaging Review Charter, Imaging Manuals, Imaging Platform Specifications, etc. and providing operational input as needed
  • Establish and monitor study budgets and timelines throughout the study duration
  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Prepare and coordinate daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and monthly invoicing.
  • Elaboration of project specific communication plan and organization of regular client meetings
  • Identify out of scope requests and work with appropriate teams to establish work order to meet new needs
  • Support business development efforts in the United States by reviewing customer RFPs, attending bid defense meetings, attending trade shows, and developing good working relationship with customers (to generate repeat business)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, medicine, biotechnologies, pharmaceutics, biology, chemistry, or equivalent is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-year experience working for a CRO as a Project Manager
  • Prior medical imaging experience is a plus
  • Prior experience supporting FDA and sponsor audits

Required Skills

  • Proven leadership skills driving processes, timelines, budgets, and people
  • Experience in the drug development life cycle especially in the Oncology field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Microsoft Project
  • Requires a proactive approach and excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to synthesize information, build and manage action plans and solve problems
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment
  • Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude
