A privately owned, mid-sized, global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Palma, Italy, specializing in Respiratory, Rare Diseases, and Specialty Medicine, was expanding into new markets and businesses. They required a global recruitment partner capable of filling highly specialized roles across multiple regions, including Europe, the Middle East, APAC, and the US, with expertise in areas such as Real World Evidence, Pharmacoepidemiology, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Operations, Pricing, and CMC.

The Challenge

The company needed an international recruitment partner with deep industry-specific knowledge and global reach to build strong talent pipelines. Their existing local recruitment channels were no longer sufficient for sourcing niche expertise, particularly as they expanded into new territories. The challenge was to attract specialized talent on a global scale while managing complex requirements across multiple functions and regions.

Our Approach

We immersed ourselves in the company’s unique culture and requirements by visiting their headquarters, allowing our dedicated account team to understand their ethos and operations firsthand. By establishing a close partnership with their internal Talent Acquisition team, we tailored our recruitment strategies to meet their evolving needs. Our approach began with appointing a critical Pharmacoepidemiologist to launch their new global function, which set the stage for subsequent placements across Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, CMC, and Commercial roles. A Master Service Agreement (MSA) was established to ensure structured, continuous collaboration, with weekly calls and bi-annual reviews reinforcing our commitment to quality and alignment with their strategic objectives.

Results & Outcomes

  • Successfully placed a Pharmacoepidemiologist to establish the company’s new global function.
  • Completed 28 additional placements over 28 months across key functions including Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, CMC, and Commercial roles.
